STAND FOR

AESTHETIC

TARGET AUDIENCE

Shaving creams, razors, shaving kits.

Middle-end (high product quality meets affordable prices).

Environmental issues and animal welfare.

Mix of eco-friendly and vintage&classy styles (stand out among other eco-friendly brands)

Male and female. 19-30 years old. Middle class.

In the beginning, my client had 3 different versions of the logo!

And used all of them at the same time for different purposes. The challenge was to lead the brand to unity. I created new versions for the logo based on each of the existing versions. In this case, it was really important to create a stylish logotype, because it was supposed to be the main element of the packaging design as well.

Goals for the new logotype:

  • Eco-friendly
  • Gender-neutral brand name and style
  • The mix of Vintage & the 1920s & Classy style aesthetic
  • Universal for all backgrounds and products
  • Fits affordable pricing segment

Logotypes (after my edits)

VERSION №1.1

WHAT DID I CHANGE?

1. Added the full name of the company. Result: easy to read and memorise.

2. Changed black color to dark-brown (reminds of the color of the woods).
3. Added beige background, but at the same time it could be used with a white background as well.

VERSION №2.1

WHAT DID I CHANGE?

1. Added the full name of the brand

2. Changed black color to dark-brown and added beige background. Result: the logo looks more eco-friendly and keep vintage look at the same time.

VERSION №3.1

WHAT DID I CHANGE?

1. Removed an illustration. Result: looks more universal.

2. Changed font of "shaving kit" to gender-neutral font to support male target audience as well.

3. Changed color palette to eco-friendly (dark brown + beige).

Final result

In the end, we decided to keep the brand font that gives a vintage vibe to the logo. Added the full name of the brand to make it easy to read and memorize for new clients. Changed colour scheme to natural one (dark brown + beige colours). Added double circle frame to support the vintage theme.
